SITE SAFETY MANAGER

A certified Site Safety Manager is required on new construction or demolition sites 15 stories and above or 100,000 square feet or greater.
SITE SAFETY COORDINATOR
​
A certified Site Safety Coordinator is required on new buildings 10 to 14 stories under construction or demolition.
CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT
​
A registered Construction Superintendent is required at new buildings and buildings under demolition nine stories and below.
QUALIFIED PERSON FOR SITE SAFETY
​
Qualified person to be present. For a project that is limited in scope to façade work, and which does not constitute façade recladding, a qualified person, who meets the requirements of 3310-10 table 10. Also, can be present at any other jobs for addition safety needs.
FIRE SAFETY MANAGER

Designation of fire safety manager as per Fire Code 1408.1, “a fire safety manager shall be designated to the job site according to the New York City Building Code BC3310.5 , which requires a site safety manager or site safety coordinator. The fire safety manager shall perform the duties and responsibilities set forth in Fire Code 1408.1.
